M Performance Pro rear spoiler

Just got my spoiler installed and it finally looks like M not like 5er
Photos attached, interesting fact is that it's required to install front splitter together with pro spoiler and service had to code DTC for it.

Where are you getting these? I do not see them available through the usual channels. Thanks!

Yes it took weeks for me from pre-order to receiving it but I must say it changes car a lot. The spoiler 'cut out' is shaped right with roof and hood lines.

You can order, you can even fit it yourself however BMW have official instructions that it's required to install both and code car ( DCT ) for changes so car makes most out of changes

Yeah, I can't even find the spoiler yet. If you look on IND-Dist. it says "Coming soon".

As said before YOU CAN BUY PARTS AND DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH THEM. If you want - you can even make coffee table from them. Dealership won't have problem selling them apart.

However in official install instructions you have it written down to fit both parts together and then proceed with coding car.

You can officially install front splitter without rear PRO spoiler. But you shouldn't install rear pro spoiler without front splitter.

What I also wrote - you can just buy parts and install them yourself in garage. No one will forbid you to. It's just not going to be along with official instructions

no need to yell and get your panties into a bunch. your first reply made no sense to me as you refer to coding "DCT". in my book DCT means dual clutch transmission and there is no DCT in this car. Regardless of that, it still makes no sense to me that BMW has to "code" the car after the addition of a stick on spoiler. it's whatever at this point.

No one yells and sorry by not going by the book . What I meant is DTC which in BMW means Dynamic Traction Control - car aeorodynamics changes and that's why changes needs to be coded. I'm just saying what service had to do to comply with instructions if it doesn't make sense for you then its your thing but if i would be considering getting this spoiler I would prefer to know that there are more steps than just sticking it to trunk hood.

Hey There.
I have held off commenting in your thread since the coding aspect does not really make sense.
But here I shall say your dealership is saying you need to re-code your car since you added a slightly more aggressive rear spoiler and front end splitters ?
How much did they charge you for the re-coding ?
And if you could be so kind to publish the paperwork ?

Because, my friend, they are a stealership, and you are being taken for a ride on that bus.

This would be the first time I have heard of this.
If they offered you a comp flash that is different - and yes you can do that in Europe.

By the way program dynamic traction control, really ?
That only helps slow you car down, so what did they do add a + 1 in the ecu so your car can slip better, makes no sense man.

Didn't pay anything for recode and neither for install of parts. If you think its a ripoff you can complain to BMW directly not to me as I only said what I've been told by service guy and confirmed with Accessories Champion. It's also not my policy to require installing front splitter only because of "installing sligthly more aggressive rear spoiler" but it is how it is.

The white car that's coming in that I grabbed already has the standard carbon spoiler (also the carbon rear splitter). I would have loved this. I'm still toying with the idea of adding the front carbon pieces, which would complete the whole look, although the front carbon on white is very aggressive looking.
