Yes, because I would have loved to have had a friend who had a cool car that I could have experienced. My wife drives mine frequently as well.

I have let a handful of friends drive and of course my wife. Fortunate that a lot of my boys have nice cars and are open to letting me drive theirs as well. One of them, who has a growing Ferrari collection, let me hold on to his F430 Scuderia for close to 6 months. Only instructions where to keep under 50 miles a week.

Lol my wife was insured on all my M4s since 2014
Total number of drives she had was 1 and that was cause I wanted a second opinion on a rattle I thought I had So providing I don't get any rattles on the M5 should be a big fat zero that she will drive it |

I shuttle my kids in the M5 and they prefer it over the XC90 my wife drives. I have another daily driver so the M is usually home. Kids have been asking my wife to drive the M which she is hesitant to do. I did give her a set of keys just in case.
When I push the M, my wife closes her eyes and looks absolutely terrified! Don't she will be driving it anytime soon. Last edited by soopa; 02-16-2019 at 03:48 PM.. |

Some of my friends own some very nice cars which cost a hell of a lot more than an M5 does.
Some of them don't own what we would consider nice cars but could afford to buy nice cars 3 times over if they wanted to. Over the years they have never had any qualms about letting me drive their cars and I don't have a problem with them driving mine. They wouldn't do anything in my car that they wouldn't do in their own. Other than when I first got it and felt obliged to let them have a go it has been very rare of them to ask since. Besides, whats the point in owning something like this if you can't share it with people you care about? |

let all my friends take it out for a spin while it was stock (since they are all kind of young and in college driving a f90 m5 isn't the most common thing), but since being modded i've had to reduce to drivers to my cousin and a few car shop guys (not many people know how to drive lowered with a lip)
