Glad someone on here got it, like I said, I read here all the time for the last couple of years. I had two M4s prior to these M5s.
I’m in Southlake...we should meet up sometime. Would love to see this color in person.
Same here. I live in Southlake and bought my M5 competition from Sewell. Would love to see this Daytona Violet in person!

My CA at Sewell said the color wasn't purple enough for you...so what color did you go with? I'd love to see pics of what replaced this.

Have old pictures of the M4s
Have any more pictures of the M5 Daytona Violet?

Nice! My F80 is a 30th Anniversary Edition in Macao Blue. I was thinking of trying to get an F90 in the same color... Now I know. Sweet!

My take
It's beautiful but personally don't thinks it's that exotic, despite being super unique! Not sure about 5200$, not going there, whether as an IDIVIDUAL BMW COLOR IS worth it or not! That's very subjective!

I believe this color was originally on the E30 including the Evo M3.

I would guess that when the E36 M3 came out that this color was enhanced in two ways.. one darker ( cosmos Schwartz ) and one more purple. ( Daytona violet and Techno violet )

BMW revived it for the f80 M3 30 Jahre edition models.

That's the only word I would use to describe it
I never really loved it, but it's growing in me because if the amount of complements I have been getting on the color since inception, more than anything else about the non exotic car

Gorgeous color but the premium is truly eye opening. Still - this color has to be appreciated without any financial perspectives.

I love Macao Blue but I think the bi-color wheels would complete the look better than the gloss black ones
