Waiting for a Ship
Have a car at the port waiting; my dream car. Hopefully these residuals climb in the next several weeks, or I’ll have to keep waiting.

According to my dealer the residuals on the M5 won’t climb because BMW is considering the M5 and the upcoming M8 as Halo cars.. the low residuals will keep the market from flooding with them in a few years and help there depreciation value in the future. Most German cars depreciate almost 50% in 3 years.. BMW is trying to combat that by selling more Ms for cash rather than leasing

Makes zero sense, as they have a certain amount of cars they will produce regardless. So the market will have the same amount of units “ out there” regardless... they’re either on the road, or on the dealer lot

Heaven forbid that the press then picks up on this and posts the sales figures quoting the car as a "flop" thus causing further depreciation.....
