F90 Stage 2 Tune

Just picked up an F90 and I have been looking for a stage 2 obd style flash tune. I'd like to stay away jb4 or piggy back. Just talked to VF and their's isn't shipping until later in the year. Who has the best plug and play option right now?

Isn't bootmod 3 the only flash , that bmw can't really see? Not sure if what I'm saying is correct. Somebody with m4 said that bm3 has that ability unlike others

If BMW want to detect an ECU flash, they can. It's only a question of whether they care to do so and then what they do with that information.

BMW can detect a tune if they choose to dig deep enough. A flash tune can/will alter the fuel mapping, boost psi, etc. They can go in and see what these values have been at. Knowing what these values should be on the OEM tune, they can see that they’re out of normal operating range.

While that's probably also true, it's well outside my area of expertise so I'll defer to you on that front

What I'm talking about has nothing to do with cars or detection through peripheral indications/inferences from other sensors--it's just modern security tech and is no different to detecting changes in the boot-chain of modern computers (PCs, Macs, Phones... it doesn't matter--it's all the same base technology). Supply-chain interference is one of the primary areas of remaining weakness but that is not what we're talking about here. To my point: if BMW (or Audi or AMG, etc.) 'want' to know' if you've re-flashed their ECU, I assure you, there's nothing known, trivial or commonplace that you can do to prevent it... but again, this assumes they care to detect it. From my recent experiences, they do.

Right now eurocharged has the best numbers with catless down pipes, pump gas and exhaust. They have US and Canada locations.
738 all wheel hp and 724 all wheel tq
These are at wheel numbers.
They are working on race gas tune as well.
So that's my next upgrade.

that is completely false. Any ecu tune is readable if looked into deep enough. In case of catastrohpic failure BMW is calling in a regional rep who wont be afraid to flag a car. It's not like paying your SA/Tech a couple bucks and you get a new motor. That is NOT how that works.

yea, and when a bill comes due for new f90 motor over 35k, you can bet your ass the dealer is calling to verify before they order one under warranty. I'm waiting to see who will blow one first
