Anyone have any thoughts on why this is happening? While in LC, I let off brake and she there's a decent amount of slippage - then the car shifts to 2nd as we start to go and we take off... In second... =/

If you launch on a cold road with a lot of boost the trans will quickly shift into second to mitigate the spin....on a cold road, get the tires hot and launch as soon as you see the flags light.

Will do... It was probably the roads now that you mention it, so I think you're dead on the money... Too close to the water so there tends to be a marine layer...

Overall pretty happy with the car - 3.1x and 3.2x with slipping and taking off in 2nd gear is not too shabby...

You're not far from me, I notice you have some high slope readings too..well not really high but Dragy considers them high. Vbox had higher slope allowances that it would accept as "vaild"

Do you ever have problems getting accurate readings? I normally run on the same section of road and depending on the day and time sometimes it will read very differently, nearly 3% difference and clearly the road isnt changing.

My dragy has a mind of its own...or the airbase thats 1000 feet away is causing some GPS oddities.

I'll have to try the turnpike and see if its a more stable reading there.

Mine does the same thing. I start at the exact same power pole every time I use it so I can get consistent tests on parts. I've seen -0.3 to -1.2 slope. Soooooo, it's not perfect.

Turnpike is the best in my opinion. So far no issues with my draggy

Completely stock: 3.03 sec 0-60 (2.85 sec with 1 foot rollout)

JB4 stage 2 and xpipe: 2.78 sec 0-60 (2.6 sec with 1 foot rollout). My pirelli sottozero winter tires spun a bit in first gear. Full tank of gas. 40f temp. And car seats in the back 😂😂

I'm pretty sure I can get a 2.6x run in better circumstances.

That 40 degree air temp is deceiving too. The ground is still frozen here, I can't get some broken tree limbs out of the dirt still, even with an air temp of 55f. With summer tires and a warm highway you'll do much better.

thats great traction on the Sottos, I'm running the same tires.

Are you running any boost limits in first gear?

I read recently they adjusted how boost by gear works for the JB4, making it now an "additive" sort of system where you enter 4psi to reduce boost in 1st gear by 4psi. The nice thing about the new system is you can actually set boost below stock levels if you need in lower gears. Made a huge difference using launch mode in one car. If you're spinning tires and bogging out of launch mode at higher power levels or even stock, give the new firmware and settings a try.

For those wondering yes we're planning on doing up ab E85 fuel system for the F90 in the future. Just waiting for more vehicles to turn up out there so the economics make sense for production.

Got my dragy last week. Non LC results on 91 octane with Racechip, 2018 M5. 0-60 3.3 sec. 1/4 mile run 11.17 s (0-60 was 3.45 s on this run). This was just hold brake, push throttle to get some boost and go. I'm ready to try launch control next. Thoughts on these non LC numbers? How much will LC drop the times?

22 M5 Competition Stock with E25 mix. My only pass after the break in service. I did get some tire spin from the front tires. I'm gonna try again for a 10.6x. The best I could do on 91 was 11.05 at 126.xx before the break in service. I test at the same location everytime.

Hopefully you have launches left. Are you the original owner? My 2019 would do 10.9s back when it was stock with launch control so you'll gain a few tenths.
