I am a bad driver. 99% of a time I drive like it's a honda accord - big city, lots of traffic. Because of M5, I leave work a little later, so that i can drive it a bit faster. BUT - I always wanted a car with a POTENTIAL to accelerate faster then anyone else. All I can do is to press a gas pedal into a floor and watch what happens. This is my second M (after X5M) and i have to confess - I never even tried a Launch Mode. I always thought that it's only for a drag race, not a normal life. Back to the point - I like M5. Not love it. It depends on your personality. M5 you need to know hot to operate - like an orgasm. A lot of touches in a right sequence. For me - a car must be straight forward. Just press and enjoy. Therefore - I'am expecting a hotrod:

S63 Amg Coupe was my choice, but couldn't afford it with all the options that I wanted;

E63 - if leasing was equal, I would have gotten it in white color. Interior is amazing. Exhaust is amazing, Power - is simple;

RS7 - old, need to wait for upgrade;

SUV - no NEW - X5M, M63, RR SVR;

Porsche - not a 2-door kind of a driver and panamera and SUV are non impressive.

M5C for me same as M5

I'm on the waitlist for the Porsche Taycan electric car as my lease will run out on my 5 series, so the timing worked out. Once I saw the m5 Competition in the Nardo color, I realize that I can move from the color white as that has been my favorite color for my BMW's. I still like the feeling of a real engine and the M5 Comp was something I really wanted after doing the research.

Got out of my lease early to put this car on order. Now I'm anxiously waiting for it to come in. #TickTock

wanted to trade in my F10 M5 for a 19 E63s , guess it didn't feel right so i got a 19 F90 Competition. the sound in the E63s is better somehow but #noRegrets

Ordered a 2018 E63 that kept getting delayed again and again... opted for a fully loaded F90... never looked back... came off a 2016 merc cls 63... loved the styling not the ride.
This m5 is incredible! ZERO REGRETS.

You are gonna love the Nardo M5C. I agree the Taycan looks really nice and could pull me to the dark side... I will wait a couple of years till the bugs are out but betting it gives Tesla a real run for the money.

We are also on the list for a Taycan. This will be something different...

I have been following the M5 and BMW has stood up a fantastic car but we don’t need two sedans.
Still love our E63s Ed.1 but am thinking the M8 will be the better replacement. I still have to get used to the rear end. Wife will appreciate the more compliant ride...

Meanwhile we got a AMG GTC roadster and that thing sounds even better than our E63s

C300!!!??? Nah, E63S or Ferrari 458 or Vette or Lambo will give you a run for your money but most'll still be focused on your license plate (hence mine is MR M5 2U). If a C300 cuts you off, just hit your horn.

PS: I have a house in Coral Springs but haven't been there for a while; I miss driving next to the Everglades on a summer evening.
