i forgot, bmw did indeedd flag this car?

if indeed its flagged, and motor was replaced outside of bmw, it's as good as trash. That really sucks for new buyer.

I called autonation told them about the engine being rebuilt the guy said they do a random number inspection and it’s autonation verifies whatever the hell that means. Oddly enough when I called bmw na and asked if all warranties were good they said yes. I asked my local SA the same thing cleared there too. When I called the bmw dealership it was serviced at they said the engine was flagged.

In other news I did find an m5 comp from a dealership should be soon!

If their ad does not disclose the engine rebuild, you should email them and make sure they know.
