Seems like a fairly modest price increase considering the macro environment. I’m curious how much of the revenue from increased price realization over the last 12 months went to BMW corporate vs dealerships. Anyone privy to changes BMW has made to their invoice pricing and holdback that effects what dealerships pay?

thank god i dont need another vehicle for a LONG time. Prices are up for everything.. And just keep going. Every manufacturer is milking this "shortage" thing to their advantage now. Its ALL about greed.

With markups, delays, and missing features, and now these price hikes, I’ve been surprised how many people are buying new/used cars rather than just waiting another year or two. Of course some people actually need to be in the market but from these forums it sounds like many just want something new to them no matter what.

I've heard this a couple times in the last week or so. Not being snarky or combative, genuinely asking people's thoughts on this.
Why wouldn't there be a 2023 M5? I assume supply-chain stuff is at the heart of it, but what else? |

1. Taking advantage of used car values for my current vehicle 2. Finding one at MSRP is the new normal, I don't see this changing 3. The value of a 1 or even a 2 year old M5 is too close to the new price. Why not buy new and not buy something someone else already beat on. 4. BMW CPO program isn't great |

It's not going to change anything for me but I am curious to see what is changing about the 2023 M5. Probably only colors but I still want to know. Surprised they haven't released that info yet.

Moserkm saw this
https://s3.amazonaws.com/bmwmedia.ic...cing_Guide.pdf Posted by BMWGirlFL on a thread, so this has the answers to your questions. But you're right, they added Dark Graphite, San Remo Blue, Marina Bay Blue and Skyscraper Grey (most likely as a substitute for the DG) as standard colors. Besides that B&W is still missing and everything looks to be pretty much the same. |
