Future Classic makes both the 12mm and 5mm spacers, found them on IND.

I'll be interested to see what you think once you put them on. They fit around the center hub ring, which is what I thought was considered hub centric. I could always be wrong though, so lets see... Either way, you'll love the way it turns out

They are also hub centric. Just doesn't have the hub lip extension since it is only 5mm. The stock hub lip is thick enough to accomodate 5mm spacer.

I have found there is certain confusion surrounding the term 'hub centric' to us non-technical owners, but the actual difference with sub 10mm (I think) is the lack of a lip extension, but as you advise, the stock lip can certainly carry an extra 5mm. |

Because the hub lip is 10mm tall. Ideally 3mm is the safer number, because BMW wheel's backpad have champering at about 2-3mm. So with 5mm spacer, your wheel is only sits on the hub at about 2-3mm.

So it is safer than 5mm. The more sitting surface that you have, the better.

question
Very late to the thread I'm looking to purchase future classic wheel spacers from IND and i drive a non-competition f90 M5. i don't plan on lowering the car. Does anyone know if 15mm front 12 mm rear is solid or should i just do 12mm front and rear? Just curious if 15 might be too much in the front or if any rubbing could happen even though I wont be lowered |
