NEW RELEASE: Dinan Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit for the F90 M5 (Monoball Kit)
Dinan Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit For the BMW F90 M5 G30 M550i G12 750i & More! (Monoball Kit) An underrated component of a proper drivers suspension, the monoball kit (tension strut ball joint kit in today's terminology), is a remnant of an era when road feel was something desirable and sought after. Drivers desired the visceral feel of being connected to the road as the road racing heritage of BMW M demanded. Dinan embraced this and over the years mastered its craft into a kit that not only satisfied the desire for proper road feel but also made it livable for everyday driving. While stock suspension properties may have swayed from its golden era lineage to more mainstream ideals, Dinan is here to correct those mistakes for those that want a more M-passioned BMW experience. Part Number(s): D280-0018 & D280-0019 Applications: D280-0018: 2018 G30 M550i xDrive, 2018 G32 640i xDrive, 2016-19 G12 740i xDrive, 2016-19 G11/G12 750i xDrive, 2018-19 G12 Alpina B7 and 2017-19 G12 M760i xDrive D280-0019: 2018-19 F90 M5 Product Page(s) / Pricing: D280-0018: http://bit.ly/TSBJ-M550 D280-0019: http://bit.ly/TSBJ-M5 Recommended Install Time(s): D280-0018: 2 hours D280-0019: 4 hours Release Date: Available Now! Description: The Dinan Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit provides responsiveness you can feel by replacing the rubber bushings in the thrust arms with precision ball joints and machined aluminum housings. Improves responsiveness by eliminating the deflection inherent in the stock rubber bushings while also reducing brake shimmy. The quietest bearings on the market are virtually noise free so you can live with them every day. These are the only bearings on the market that are sealed using a rubber boot to keep out dirt and road grime stopping them from wearing out prematurely. Features/Benefits:

When products are done, they are released. Monoballs happened to be the first to come to fruition. Rear arms and a HAS kit are probably the next to be released given where kibble vendors / production are in the process. The tune, intake, mid-pipe, etc are all simply farther down the pipeline.

The monoballs are for either. No change on stock pieces there. Same goes for the other parts listed outside of the exhaust/mid-pipe (exhaust should be fine but mid-pipe is always a question mark until its actually fitted) and potentially the rear links (in the process of verifying those now but so far it looks like those would work on either a comp or non-comp).

That is exactly what they should not be doing so I have to imagine something else was at play (installation, bad part, etc). I'd be curious to know what the support folks said if anything or did you not go that route opting to just remove them?

So will this tension strut ball joint kit help with much more feel on country roads with better turn in to include roundabouts? Sometimes this thing just doesn't want to turn in as quick as i would like. I have a base M5 (2018).

Short answer, yes. Driver input with the monoballs is more direct and immediate with added braking and turn-in response.
