Not using progman anymore?

I just got my car updated and the SA said they don't used progman but instead it's something called intel. Anyone heard about this?

This may sound like a silly question. But within BMW, do they say it letter by letter I-S-T-A or is it pronounced like is-tah?

This is the new programming system for every car we work on. There is no reason to get your car programmed unless you need it (repair, or retrofit).
