Donated but no token

Hey All,

Almost 2 months ago my coding got wiped (dealer had to do a code refresh on my car). My e-sys was no longer working and I emailed Eli. He sent me instructions to donate to Judes hospital, which I did, and then forwarded him the confirmation.

There hasn't been any response (sent about 6 emails). Does anyone know if Eli/Token master is around, on vacation, not doing well?

I tried using premium, and after figuring out the graphics issues, was getting some errors that a couple friends and I could not figure out.

Every time you email him you end up at the bottom of the list. In my experience he usually has a 2 week turn around

Charity and forwarded the email to him. Almaretto reached out for me a few months ago and no reply.

See, that's weird, because he actually sent me an email telling me where to donate only a couple months ago. So he has been reading his emails enough to ask for donations

I wonder if these donation receipts are used as charitable business expenses for tax deduction purposes. That, or TM is just a good person.

I would love to share it, but for the life of me I cannot find it. Must have deleted it. Gmail's system is weird...even with searching for Eli, Tokenmaster, esys I cannot find a copy of his original email. I do have a copy of the messages sent to him with the St Judes receipt (direct forwarding, no edits) to both emails he provided

He might be using them as a donation expense on his side, and I am perfectly fine with that. I am also perfectly fine if he said "pay me $50 as a service fee". Really it doesn't matter to me; he put work into this thing. But, once you set your terms, you honor it.

Have you guys just considered using the free version. It’s all you need for coding. If you need to do programming, you need the full version.

I just got mine running again on my MacBook Air after my HDD died on me. Using an external drive with Windows 10 with boot camp.

I am using the free version, but it's going to expire at the end of this month.

It took me months to figure out how to get the graphics resolution fixed on the free version. And then I got an error when trying to use it. It doesn't work. Trust me, I would use it if i could

I have multiple BMW's. That means I need to wait for days between coding them, have multiple coding laptops, or use the full version.

I donated, have a key, but can't get it working again after moving to a new laptop. That's been the case for over a year. I will say that Eli offered to help remotely via VNC, but we weren't able to coordinate a time.

It had never occurred to me that he could be "using the receipts" for other peoples' donations as a charitable expense. I cannot imagine the slightest chance that doing that sort of thing with large numbers of donations made by other people would withstand an audit or that he is interested in fraud charges. I have always believed he required this because many people were making money using his work and he wanted the world to get some good out of that. I also have the sense that he has the sort of job that involves his being on the road and out of touch at times.

Yeah I don’t know how he could use other peoples receipts as a tax donation since they are under other accounts. Iirc he wants to see proof of your donation, not made under his name.

I would think that this would be a huge tax fraud liability claiming write offs under his name knowing other people will use that same donation as a potential write off when they file.

I can't imagine he is trying that route. If he is using it, I don't care. What I do care about is that it's mid-June and still nothing
