Windshield Wipers

Does anyone else think the wipers are a little weak on the m5 compared to the previous model? I live in South Florid where it rains and I feel like they went cheap on the wipers. I have one that is already dragging across the windshield.

I hate the auto feature of them.
If I have it on low speed it will switch to high speed by it self, when it thinks I need it, so I look like an idiot that can't see through his windshield at times.

I prefer total control of the speed of the wipers, I am more then capable to judge how fast I need them to go, not some stupid computer.

I absolutely agree on the wiper quality, my driver side was dragging during my first rain - seems to go away after a few uses, but they are definitely sub-par compared to the 2015 435 GC I traded in. Not only the wipers, but the exterior door handles and the door surrounds (left rear honestly feels like it's going to fall off) also feel pretty cheap. I love the car, but in many areas my 435 felt like the better built car...

+1 the rear doors the trim on the small windows is like loose and you can push it in and out with your fingers.

I came out of a '16 F10 550i Xd M-sport and agree on wiper quality.
Door wise, my previous soft close would catch the door much sooner, whereas it's much easier to slam these doors / catch is shorter.
Little bs things though, such a tremendous vehicle.

I was just thinking that they did the wiper thing on purpose since it is not a part of the maintenance program anymore... in my m6 they must have changed them every year at no cost...
