I love the look of the car but will never buy a Matt car again!!!!!!! All scratches have to be re painted which is a joke!
A ceramic coating won't help against these types of scratches nor rock chips

as another poster said, ceramic will NOT help against someone keying your car. Nothing will. Maybe someday...

Not really, you just didn't know. Hope it works out bud

A ceramic coating will help you to maintain you car clean, but it won't do anything against rock chips and scratches...

Just for the exclusivity of having an Individual color and different than a shiny paintjob, I would still buy another Frozen car.

If you paint the car you can't get PPF or ceramic until the paint has fully cured and the outgassing has stopped. Otherwise it will outgas under the film and/or coating and ruin it. 2-4 week waiting time to be safe.

I understand where you're coming from. And yes matte paint is "fragile" in the sense that you cannot buff things out.
But from the pictures it seems that it scratches (done intentionally) are quite deep. Even with regular paint, the only way to go is repaint as well.

I'm with Frozen MBB and it only took one car wash afternoon for me to decide to PPFed the whole car. In exchange for the peace of mind later on(since now its too late to say, hey! Just get me a regular Marina Bay Blue!) ceramic coating will help somewhat, but sooner then later, you'll be back to the same spot (those damn micro scratches!)

Might open to the route some suggest, to get regular paint and matte ppfed, it'll look just the same

It doesnt look bad from a foot or two away. Its inly visible in direct light also. Its dark because there is some dust there. The dark area is where I lightly wiped it to check it.

Yes PPF will stop a keying. The film might need to be replaced but the paint below should be fine.

Frozen paint is a huge fail, IMO. If you want the frozen look, the way to go is go is to start with gloss paint and then do a full matte PPF wrap. You get the frozen look but with the durability of PPF.
That's not entirely true. You won't get the same look. I have a frozen blue M3CS and the difference with PPF is very noticeable. I removed it. It changes the look completely.
