Not delusional. Just ignorant since they haven't experienced that level of $$.

A 720s means an M5 Comp wont phase you as the "winter beater".

On another note, a 720s with a tune and downpipes is doing easy 3's 60-130mph. These cars are pulling on UGR TT Lambos. Checkout which cars can do 60-130mph in the 3 second range...

Why is it delusional or ignorant? What's wrong with having fastest road legal BMW possible?
I don't want or like 720S, I think it's ugly, slightly less ugly than Senna, but ugly nevertheless, only McLaren I would have is F1, so I'm asking you, why isn't possible to buy M5c and M8c for price of 720S, and make M8c fastest road legal BMW possible?

I wonder if BMW sees videos like this and thinks about putting their powertrain in a light, mid engined supercar body... 🤔

I own an F90 M5. My dream car is/was the 911 Turbo S. The 720s is definitely stealing my heart though. Who knows what the future (3-5 years) holds. 🙏😅

Doubt it. Well, the closest to that is the i8. That's just not the market they cater to.

Even though I own a 2019 Porsche Turbo S with a Cobb Custom tune, I REALLY loved my F90 and dreamed of an M2 with AWD and the F90 engine. That would be another amazing ride.

I cross shopped the Turbo S bs the 720S when I owned my F90M5.

720S prices were dropping big time so cost delta was not significant. Also had a 2017 Z06 and had 2 Zo6 owners that also had 720’s wave me off due to big time reliability issues with the 720s. They both sold theirs. The door pillar on the 720 is another issue. You drop down into it and climb up out of it. That’s a no go for me. Young guys it’s a zero issue.

I’ve had the Turbo S for 14 months with zero issues. Hopefully it stays that way.

when are people going to realize, it's not all about the numbers? who cares if you have the fastest "road legal" BMW?

The experience of driving a fast automobile is hindered when you weigh as much as some of these cars do.

The guy driving a 570, 600, 720, is having a much better overall driving experience because it's an actual car designed to go fast, compared to an f90.. Think about that. i'm not saying the f90 is slow by any means, but what i'am saying is (in regards to this particular example) it's 10x more fun. There is zero room for debate.

Truer words have not been said re: cars. I had way more fun in my 991.2 Carrera T with only 370 hp than I’ve had in most cars - it’s not the speed (though it was plenty fast) but the way the steering feels, the way the pedals are perfectly placed (left foot braking), how balanced the chassis is when the car breaks away, the pressure of the brake pedal and how it engages and allows you to always get the right pressure (and never fading), the way the PDK read you mind in auto but was crisp, precise, and did exactly what I wanted when I wanted. All those smalll things are what makes car like that, cars like Porsche GTx, like Ferrari’s, Etc as desirable and sought after as they are. Those are the small things that FEW manufacturers come close to getting right and why those cars cost what they do.

Anyone can make a fast car, sedan, coupe, SUV. It is not hard and there are dozens upon dozens of examples of that...and more each year. Having a car connected to the synapses of your brains or hardwired to your body, that is nearly priceless. The dichotomy of speed and truly world class dynamics are vast.

They are dyno'ing about 800-850whp with only boltons on a 3100lb chassis with great aero & great DCT. This is about in line with a Stage 2 UGR Huracan. Of the TT Huracan's and Alpha 12 + GTR's I know, most run pump at 800-900whp for any daily driving.

The only time C16 or racefuel is used is for track or events.

I even test drove a Tuned 720s before I bought my H Evo and it made my EVO feel like a 340i vs an M5 in terms of velocity. LOL.

1120whp racefuel TT Huracan vs 950whp 720s. All the 720s has is Pure turbos with tune and dynopipes = $15,000 worth of mods (half of which is just the turbos).

I'm not talking about real world driving experience, if I was, I'd be talking about manual M cars, I'm talking about track days, 1/4 miles, top speed, and I care about numbers, all I'm saying, if I had 720s money, I wouldn't buy it, I'm a BMW fan and I'd make fastest BMW possible, nothing delusional or arrogant about it,

ok cool, you'd rather have an m5/m8 over a Mclaren/Lambo/Ferarri/GT P car.. sounds legit. carry on

while that video may seem legit, i'd take it with a grain of salt. looks like it was shot down here in South Fla. And rule #1, is don't trust any anyone down this way with a modded car and their "numbers"

Im with you on that one. The downside to street races is that it's hard to say which car is faster. Most people will jump on the second honk. Some cars are better from a 40 roll than say a 60 roll and so on. I've been to car meets where there were races after and depending on who uploads the video, the results are always different
