Talking Burger Tuning F90 M5 JB4 Power gains of up to 80whp and 100wtq!!

Ready to take your M5 to the next level?
Our latest tuning kit the F90 //M JB4 BETA takes every thing that is great about the 2018+ all wheel drive F90 platform and amps it up to the next level. Power gains of up to 80whp and 100wtq bring the car to life allowing 1/4 mile potential deep in to the 10s. Unlike other generic tuning devices the JB4 includes full CANbus integration via the OBDII port for advanced tuning, safety features, and diagnostics, as well as electronic wastegate control for superior boost targeting. This is simply the best tuning box available for your //M.

Installation is fully reversible attaching to the TMAP sensors and OBDII port. The included electronic wastegate (EWG) wires are optional and allow the JB4 to take direct control of the wastegates for more precise boost targeting for higher boost maps. Firmware update loaded via JB4 Mobile or a BMS Data Cable will be provided free of charge as we expand the JB4's performance, maps, and features with future development.

Right. If you remove your cats, the JB4 (USA VERSION) will not turn the cel light off created by removing the cats.

No CEL light when using the JB4 even if you use catless downpipes since you live outside of the US

Exactly. Let us know when it's out of beta. Not prepared to bet the car on a beta product.

Thats a really poor dyno. Stock and 21psi go to 6800rpm, 23psi only goes to 6500rpm and 25 psi goes to 6200rpm as well as making less power than the 23psi one by 5900rpm.

What happens with the higher boosts and higher rpm? Does it cut out or what?

Terry was running 91 octane with a bit of E85 to get it up to 93-94 for those runs. AFR was pretty lean. For the 25 psi map, he's recommending racing fuel. 93 is OK for up to about 22 psi.

What do you mean?
He run map 3 no enthanol
And he recommended 20% ethanol on map 3
Without to check

I don’t think so!

Says it right in his thread with the dyno:

Fuel here was 91 octane with a few gallons of E85 mixed in. Similar to good 93-94 octane.

And if you look at the current beta map descriptions:

Map 0: Stock operation, JB4 disabled
Map 1: Default performance map, 2-3psi over stock
Map 2: 22psi absolute boost profile, 93 octane OK
Map 3: 25psi absolute boost profile, requires higher octane like unleaded racing fuel

Beta label for a reason. Give them a few weeks to review logs and make changes. It will come together.

So again
Why it happened?!
Map 1 - 6800 rpm
Map 2 - 6500 rpm
Map 3 - 6200 rpm

Why it dropped?!
