Planning to order 22 M5 Comp

Hey everyone, I'm planning on ordering a 22 M5 competition within the next few months. Are dealerships giving discounts on these? My build would be about $118k, think I could get 5k off msrp? Also how do you add m performance parts? I'd like to add the front splitter and rear spoiler. Could I get the price of those included in the financing or does it have to be paid separately? Sorry for so many questions and thanks in advance.

Not seeing a whole lot of discounts right now given the current state of the Auto Industry and the supply-chain issues.

Speak to your CA about adding the CF Parts you want if you don't see them in the online builder. These too have been affected by supply-chain issues. You can residualize these into the lease payment or to the amount financed.

The market's a mess right now so be patient and you may be rewarded with a better deal if you're not in a hurry.

I bought a 22 m5 comp recently and it was extremely painful to get a measly 3k discount off msrp

I also have a 2022 M5 Comp and got $2K off msrp. Inventory now is low and dealers are not cutting great deals.

Yup, $2k was the best I could do for a ‘22 M5C. I got my allocation in July and there are 3 more people behind me since then.

I told them I’ll get them next time. 🙂

My 22 M5C is hopefully due in this week as it finally cleared recall at port. I have a trade in/lease turn in so the way I look at is I'm likely getting a tad more than I should for my trade in and not getting as much off the new car as I normally would. So probably a wash in the end. I'm going to shoot for 5-7% off and buy rate MF.

At least I'm not in the market for an AMG.

I talked pricing with my dealer prior to ordering anything. Was that not the way to go? Also, my dealer claimed that no BMW dealer was taking anything off MSRP because it's so damn difficult to get an allocation. So I just took it at MSRP and placed the order. Hopefully I'm not getting hosed.

Nah, you’re not getting hosed. That’s just the market right now. I called several dealers in Texas and they were all at MSRP. My discount was basically a courtesy due to a misunderstanding we had initially.

Gonna be very difficult in this market with all of the supply/demand/chip issues.

If you can't get anywhere, may be worth your time to PM Dan Next Level Auto Brokers and see if he can help (but again will depend on allocations/build slots as well).

Good luck!

Yeah my discount was 3k simply because I had relative that used to work at the dealership and I got another 750 off as a rebate due to my employer - but yeah nothing much else for these 22 m5s atm. Market is tight ... I am looking at the 992 911 turbo s - so who knows - may sell the 22 m5c and go that route if i can get an allocation.
