Most dealers already have a wait list you can join for the CS but no allocations have been given out just yet
Any insight on how many will be made for the US?

From what I read, production is limited to just one model year, but they didn't mention anything about limiting the total quantity.
Probably production numbers similar to the F80/F82 CS models for North America.

especially considering a M5 Comp fully loaded is around $132,000 already
$143,000 for this isn't that bad (if you are in that market)

Here's screenshots from the BMW.ca configurator - the dark interior (and especially dark interior trim) is the most striking thing I didn't notice before from the press photos.

Is it just 3 color options ? gray, frozen gray or green?

The 5CS is super cool - better than M8C imo.

Any idea if the M5CS will be available with individual paint?
Also do the rear seats fold down in anyway or is there a trunk pass through?

I ask my dealer about individual paint. They ran it up the flagpole to BMW NA and they said it wouldn't be available on this model.

I'm almost positive that the rear seats have the standard LATCH attachment points.

Just looking at the picture, I dont see any sign of the laser light, they are usually located on the eyebrow in blue color, perhaps BMW made laser light in black for CS.
Probably included because of the yellow signature light for the CS, but laser feature disabled for US, same as with new M3/4... you get them in the US, but no laser feature enabled.

Laser high beam can reach up to 600M distance, the default high beam is around 350m...and the US regulations are apparently not allowing the use uf laser light for now, so it is simply turned off on cars, as it is only an extension to the default high beam, otherwise just default LED
Where did you get this information?

Ditto. AFAIK the Laserlights in the US are functional, just powered down to meet the US's archaic lighting regulations.
