I had to assume the F90 was the fastest but did anyone notice how bumpy that E63S was? I thought they fixed the suspension as my 2018 was like a tank on bones.

Can’t recall what rims size the RS6 was on but I think one of these Dutch/German sites tested the stock rims against the 22” and noticed a difference in acceleration.

I always assumed such things wouldn’t affect acceleration but I was so wrong.

I don't care that the RS6 is the slowest of the group, that thing is just gorgeous.

Hint hint BMW, bring us a wagon please.

I generally don't like Audi's, but dang… that RS6 would be my choice for a transcontinental heavy bomber.

The cringe is unreal with those gloves. But if the drivers hands slip while driving completely straight I guess that's fair enough

I have a question, as this seems like the most random, unscientific test I've ever seen.

What is the correct way to measure a 100 to 200kmh time???

Should you not measure from either:

A. a standstill, as this shows the accelerative force a car carries through the run

or

B. driving at a steady 100kmh and then flooring the accelerator until the car reaches 200kmh

"B" would seem to make the most sense to me...

In each one of the 100-200kmh runs, he floors the accelerator from a different, random speed, although each time well below 100kmh.

Since there was zero consistency in how he began each run, every car would react differently, based on the specific speed you happen to floor the accelerator, its engine's power-band, transmission response, etc., etc., etc.

Even if you just used one car, you would have a different time for every run, based on the starting point.

Am I missing something????

Thanks in advance!

That guy is wearing gloves to drive a car down a straight autobahn, what do you expect?

To be option B is wrong mainly because it’s not only the acceleration from the engine but also includes gearbox kick down.

As long as the full acceleration starts well below 100km/h so as to guarantee the period between 100-200km/h is at full attack mode I don’t see what he could improve among.

BTW agree with all others, the RS6 looks the dog’s bits and sounds amazing on full tilt. Oh and did any of you see the Carwow video of his stock RS6 against the tuned one, that thing is shockingly quick.

Though not sure it would be that much quicker than my M5 Comp.

Really gives you a glimpse at how Active Sound Design in the F9x allows for a more audible in-cabin experience. But obviously the sound emitting from the exhaust pipes is where the party's at.

Fast-forward to 4:40 to hear that amazing engine from the outside. It sounds like a car you'd only hear in the movies.

RS6's sound is pretty damn unique! Aggressive and.... different. AMG what happened? Nice lift-off though.

Depends on the market. OPF M5's have a neutered exhaust due to regulations, but US M5's I don't believe should be effected that badly.

8:34 in this video from RBR you can see how OPF has essentially removed any pops and bangs from the M5.
