Got my car!...another question.
Before I start asking questions, let me say that the 335i coupe is an AMAZING machine! This is my first sports car and previously I was driving an SUV, so I am definitely a noob. My previous cars have been:
1989 Honda Civic Hatchback 1994 Toyotal Corolla 2001 Nissan Pathfinder 2007 BMW 335I COUPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you can easily understand my excitement. Also, I test drove several AT e92 335's and my 6MT feels much better and more responsive. Of course, I'm sure I'm biased because this is MY car, but I absolutely have fallen in love with this car. I have a question about the automatic window movement that happens when you open and close the door. I am noticing that when driving on the freeway, I hear a faint wind noise as if the window is not fully closed/sealed; although, when I try to roll it up it doesn't budge. However, if I roll the window down a few inches and then give it a running start and close it, it seems to seal much better and the car is perfectly silent (i.e. no wind noise). I'm wondering if they can be adjusted or if this is a virtue of the car. Thanks. |

second, third, i haven't had any issues regarding the window noise. Take it back to the dealer and have them look at it |

Congratulations on picking up your new E92!!
The window thing sounds pretty logical in the sense that it doesn't sound like anything is 'wrong'... Is it just one side's window or both? edit: nevermind, yeah... I don't know what I'm talking about. You should take it in :P

congrats on your ride...
as for the window problem, i havent heard of any on the E9x, but i know on the E46, window creaking was a regular problem, covered under warranty. they would change the window regulators. |

Your windows is 100% a issue.
That should not happen. On my e46, I had a an accident where they replaced the door, and never re-aligned the window. Every time I'd go over 40mph, I'd hear wind noise. The window is just not aligned correctly, have BMW fix it |
