M5 F90 LCI EU - Exhaust disappointment
I've recently swapped my 2021 M4 G82 for a 2021 M5 F90 LCI and I'm very disappointed with the exhaust sound.
I've done a fair bit of reading and wanted to see if anyone here has found a good solution for the below. 1. Bringing back the overrun which is mapped out by BMW. 2. Bring back some of the V8 sound. I've looked at lots of different options with full systems and OPF deletes but wondered if anyone's managed to achieve any of the above without butchering the exhaust too much. I've also seen these guys online but not sure how legit it is, they are claiming they can remotely map overrun back on the M5 F90 LCI. https://www.facebook.com/bimmerworks.ro https://www.facebook.com/xenon.vision.tints https://www.youtube.com/@bimmerworks Thanks |

We've dealt with a lot of these. An OPF delete is quite common, and brings back a lot of the volume and V8 sound. There's a few ways to get around the problem an OPF delete causes. We have had one customer who had the OPF delete coded out I believe by that company, but have not heard back if it worked or not.
Feel free to get in touch if there's anything we can help out with. |
