I don’t think I’ve seen you post a picture of your C63 Black series on either the F10 or F90 forums before. It’s been shown in your stable ever since I joined at the end of 2012, and been there through I don’t know how many other fantastic cars you’ve owned, so I figured you had a special attachment to it. Still looks great, a classic from Mercedes. For those of you lucky enough to be able to own many cars at once, the emotional attachment must count as much as the new tech and more modern styling.

I wouldn’t doubt that Quickburn might also have a 288 GTO in his garage. I believe he’s given us a glimpse into his garage, or one of his garages, before and it’s a humbling experience! Layers of cars, very nice cars, surely too many to drive on a regular basis. But for a collector, heaven.

How is the Pista? I've been thinking about an exotic a lot lately, but I'm wondering whether it's worth the cost given how abusrd the M5C performance is.

Practically nothing--- resonator pull, oem coilover slight drop, and a inconsequential normally aspirated tune.

It might surprise you but it's a car I no longer have. E39 2001 Stage 3 Dinan M5. Car was lowered, wheels, built and supercharged with trans, flywheel and differential work including sway bars and suspension/brake upgrades. Full headers and it sounded like a Nascar. I regret selling it!

Old Pic, prior to the Novitech kit on the 430. The good old days have come and gone. Wish I could afford all this now :P

Thanks! Here is the 430 after Novitech... big difference and lots more power.

It was the one I was going to keep forever but I sold it and decided to get the new Porsche 911 Turbo S
