Bimmercode app

Have any of you used the bimmercode app successfully on the f90. My friend has it and tried to use it with the adapter in my car and it wasn't working. Any tips would be appreciated thx!

What adapter is he using. Used it many times and it works great.

-The adapter matters
-are you putting in diagnostic mode properly?

Ideally if you want all possible options to work with the M5 you need a Unicarscan adapter or OBDlink MX +. There are listed as the required adapters for G series on BimmerCode website.

I use the unicarscan and it works great
