M5 F90 Competition, real world VBOX numbers
Hi,
One of my friends bought M5 F90 Competition, 2019 model. Here are the real world vbox times for completly stock (not fully loaded) car: this 7.2 is little bit downhill, but 7.5 looks ok to me. The car is pretty fast after ecu flash + downpipes, around 720hp. did: Temperature was ~16*C, wind speed and direction: unknown |

100-200 was around 6.6-7.2 200-250: 6.0-6.5 so the faster the better was M6 (at least in vbox numbers) Latest M5's in europe have OPF (Ottopartikelfilter) - another emission restriction sh*t so it is possible that F90 from the beginning of the production might be actually faster than latest F90 CP ... |

One of the earliest Auto BILD test on the 2014 M6 CP had it ran 0-300km/h in 30.4 seconds, which is extremely fast. F90 M5 CP did 32.8 in the latest Auto BILD test. All the subsequent M6 tests ran around 34 seconds, in fact, the 600HP M6 CP only did 35.1. The 2014 M5 CP that Sport Auto ran on the ring had a faster trap speed than the F90 M5. So there are people who believe the 2014 year of CP cars before the Euro 6 hits are faster than the later cars. |
