Frontal collision warning question
So a few times I've seen the little red car logo light up that's part of the front collision mitigation system, but I've never heard an audible alert. Just curious how close you have to be to hitting the car in front of you before that sounds as the times the little red car logo has popped up, I was pretty close. And it's supposed to actually brake for us, correct?
I've had the car brake for me when i was backing up and it scared the crap out of me initially as I thought I hit something. But it was just a flower bed i was backing up towards so it wasn't a big deal. |

I hate it, it brakes so hard suddenly for no reason, happened with me two times I was close to be rear ended. However, if you want to try it tilt your head a bit to the left or right when approaching a vehicle the car will hit full brakes.
