Battery issue or alternator issue?

I replaced the battery cause of this issue 3 times so far. Originally battery was bad i knew that. It said to replace the battery so i swapped the battery with my other car which is compatible. And programmed successful. But that battery went bad too and i ended up with 2 bad battery.
This is the problem im experiencing, when battery is plugged to the charger voltage goes upto like 18-19 randomly and voltage doesnt seem steady. It goes up snd down so bad.
Because of this issue so far cluster had to be replaced because cluster got fried also.
If alternator is bad can battery voltage can go up and down crazy?

Did you register the battery and reset the charging system?

Max voltage for charging this battery is 14,4 V. When you have used higher voltage you probably damage the battery

As others have mentioned. Double check your charger is rated for the Lithium battery chemistry. A standard lead acid charger will kill these batteries. Just saying this in case it was overlooked! If not, then best bet is a diagnostic looking for the infinite possibilities of cause. These batteries are crazy expensive and would hate to see you have another one fail. Good luck.
