Not really a value added comment here. Show me where you can lease a brand new F488, Turbo S, etc. for $1900/month. I'm not aware of their leases coming close to this amount...but maybe I'm wrong.

Comparing to a 488 payment is a little absurd. That would run you over $4k per month.

I "think" the comparisons to a 488 or 911 etc aren't based on actual dollars but relative value. $2000 for a +/- $125k msrp vs some of the lease programs in much more expensive cars. At $2000 a month you are into much different territory. Not that an M5 is not a great vehicle but it's not a turbo s! Lol. Truth is I said same thing when I set out to lease an M5. Was sorely disappointed with the lease rates and whether affordable or not, made no sense to me to pay $2k for this msrp range. Luckily cut a deal for a 2018 at $1215 tax in (now $1226 due to local sales tax increase starting Jan 1).

Yup. That's why I went with a M3 CS this time around. Got $15k off MSRP.

my E 63 lease w 212, previous gen , was 1220 a month and the car was 112 k
in my opinion a good lease is when monthly payment is 1% of the MSRP give or take some , with only first payment down so for M5 120 k , lease should be around 1200 may be max 1400 |

Here is my deal made today - on an ordered base M5 (non-Comp).
As others have said, the wait...…... tortuous. 2019 base M5 MSRP: $118,595 Discount: -$5620 BMWFS lease cash: -$5000 Base cap cost: $107,975 Cash down payment: $1000 Net cap cost: $106,975 Residual Value: 55% (10K miles) Money Factor: .00188 Monthly Payment: $1483.41 (Plus $5974 cash due at delivery for taxes, acquisition fee, registration/title) If there is any improvement in the combination of residual value/money factor/BMWFS lease cash/loyalty credits by delivery - I'll get those rates. |

What are your payments like on the CS? Around $1000 a month? A friend of mine is interested just trying to help him out.... |
