Placed order yesterday afternoon, accepted and received my production number today for a WK18 build. Ready for the rollercoaster ride until delivery at the Performance Center!

Got my production number on 2/15, build started 3/1 and Genius says it is scheduled to finished 3/15.

Thoughts on a range of weeks before it shows up in Dallas? Dealer says 4/15 but I don't buy it - seems too soon.

My car completed production January 25, 2021 and arrived in Galveston February 22, 2021. The car arrived at dealership February 26, 2021. So the dates they have given you are possible.

Order in on 2/9, build date of 3/2. Currently "at the port" (status 193). Timeline from impulse purchase/initial order to completed production was surprisingly quick. Now comes the long shipping wait

Awesome! I believe our cars have the same build week. I was slated for a week 14 build. How did you find out which status you're at (Status 112)? When I look in "My Garage", it still shows "Scheduled for Production" but doesn't give specifics. Did you call the BMW NA genius line?

Yeah we both have week 14 builds so this should be fun!!

I called this morning and they told me that they don't disclose any of the codes associated with the build process. Since I have a week 14 production date, the genius told me that my car wouldn't begin production until later this month. I assume I could call my CA at the dealership to see if they see any updates.

Check out the link to the thread I posted, it breaks down the common status codes and their meanings, so for example status 112=scheduled for production.

Also, the build week is the week when the car will finish production, not start, so that means production will start a few weeks before that date.
