Well that's true. Make sure you get the $4k in rebates and also everyone forgets to buy the 3 year BMWCCA membership for $134 and get a $1,500 check back for BMWNA for buying the car
Could you provide details on the 4k in rebates?

Yes eligible straight away, and AlpineFrenchFry you can still get it as well, eligible within 60 days of purchase.

My rebates were $2k for 5 Series which I think they got wrong but kept it on, $1k loyalty cash and another $1k discount

But then again my relationship is pretty good. 5th M car from this salesman and 11th car with him overall so the dealership works with me a little bit

What are the rebates thru end of May? I read above 4k but my dealer is showing me only $2,000 rebate now on the worksheet. Want to know what is missing?

Also, wondering what sort of discounts everyone is getting around this time on the M5 for an in stock car.

thanks!

Went to the dealership today and got this:

Residual 58%
Money factor: 0.00206
MSRP: $111,600
$113k with destination fees
Monthly payment (with $2000 1st month): $1816 (including fees and taxes)

What do you guys think about the MF, isn’t it pretty high? The monthly payment is what I expected though. They also can’t find any rebates, does anyone have the link for the $3000 rebates so I can email him?

Thanks

I assume this is 36/12 with that residual?

MF is high, May MF was .00166 so I doubt June went up that much. My guess is June is still 3.9% and they are padding 1% on your deal.

It’s a 36/10 lease, the MF sounds pretty high to me as well. I asked them if it’s negotiable and they told me no. Is the MF negotiable at all?

Also, as far as the monthly lease goes. How is $1816 including fees and tax sound?

This is definitely not a 36/10 lease. It is a 36/15k. Residual should be 61% for 10k and it is fixed by BMW FS - dealer can only play with money factor.

Need to find a calculator and play with actual numbers - then see if you are happy with the discount you are getting. Too many variables for somebody on a forum to tell you if it is a good deal - local market, fees dealers charges, state's tax rate, promos you qualify for like loyalty etc. which will not match what somebody else 2k miles alway gets.

There are definitely discounts on M5s at this point and have gotten quotes at invoice but with jacked up MF.

This is a high lease rate. Ask for a better deal from them.

So the residual cannot be changed anyway, but the money factor is up to the dealer? What’s the going rate for MF in June? They told me that it went up from May, but even if that’s the case does it sound outright too high?

Besides the BMWCCA membership discount, what other discounts are available?

Could try asking here? https://forums.edmunds.com/discussio...and-prices/p32

Or here (seems specific to M5) https://forums.edmunds.com/discussio...m5/2018-bmw-m5

Checked edmunds - MF is same as May - .00166

Would be careful believing what this dealer is telling you since you said they gave you a residual of 58% for 10k miles which is just wrong.

Yes. I think it is 0.00166. Dealers can increase it up to a maximum of 0.004 which is exactly they quote they gave you.

Not sure if there are any additional discounts but the one I am aware of is a $2k loyalty if you are a current BMW FS customer.

Awesome information guys! I believe they have indeed increased to the maximum allowed, which is 0.00206.

I'm currently leasing from BMW FS, then I should be allowed the $2k loyalty discount. I think there's also a BMWCCA $1.5k discount, but I'll have to sign up for a 3 year membership which is about $150.

In you guys' experiences, how difficult is to negotiate down the MF from the inflated one?

BMWCCA rebate is only $1,000 on the 5 series. $1,500 is on the 7 series.

As a point of comparison, does anyone know invoice pricing? Also is actual sale price still around MSRP?

If you look on AutoTrader nationwide, there are plenty at MSRP but some at discounts of $1,000 - $5,500.

Can you post your full lease details and state this is in? That seems crazy high...

Depends on the dealer/salesperson, and whether they actually care about making a sale. Talk to the sales manager, and if you still don't get what you want, find another dealer.

I've had salespeople flat out tell me "I can reduce it, but I'm going to have to make it up on the sale price of the car." so be wary of that.

You have to look at the whole deal.
