Quickjack 6000 EXL
Just finished setting up my new Quickjack 6000 EXL's. All seems to be working great, after I taped all the connections which leaked the first time…. Excited about having these jacks to make cleaning up the wheels, brakes and changing oil so much easier.
Has anyone had these for a while now? Loving them or anything to be aware of ?? |

I had the 5000EXT for the F10 M5 and was surprised when BMW moved the jacking points on the F90 further apart! Had to get the 6000XLT to fit, but the 5000 was trouble free for the years I had it, and the 6000 has been as well. The dry break connections have been excellent and I haven’t had to add fluid. And because of the disconnects you can get the hoses out of the way if you’re going to keep the car on the lift for days at a time.
An expensive alternative to avoid the hassle of a floor jack and jack stands, but since the F90 eliminated the central front jacking point the F10 had, using a floor jack became even more of a hassle. Lifting the car all at once without having to go side to side makes the process so much nicer. You’ll be glad you have it if you do your own wrenching. |
