A lot has happened lately... The HP fuel pump went out with only 400mi on the odometer. That took the car out of commission for 5 days. Then I just picked it up from getting the KW HAS kit installed. I have to say, this kit is EXACTLY what I was looking for. In fact, I’d argue it’s just as if not more comfortable than stock due to the progressive spring rates. I didn’t max out the front and rear which I’m sure helped. Going out of town for a few days and I’ll post some more pics when I get back in. Anyone on the fence about this should feel good about pulling the trigger on it.

About progressive spring rate.... stock springs are also progressive spring rate. You can see that on variable pitch, this is called multiple rates. It will depend if is dual or triple rate for our cars. Most likely is dual rate, but it also depends what the pre loads are and what deflection leads are getting used. To make it short, the only way to find out is to check F.L., loads and rates Anyway car is top notch man Love it, planning any other mods?

Eurocharged did it, and I would absolutely recommend them. Once they finished the install, they had me back over to dial in the correct height— even using calipers to make sure both fronts and both rears were completely even. Very reasonable as well.

I'm still waiting on my wheels so will be doing the KW HAS at the same time as the wheels.

The ride feels exactly like stock. I'm going to go another 1/8 to 1/4 inch all the way around so I'm expecting it to firm up ever so slightly. I've seen some on here where the rear seems a little lower than the front, and that will absolutely make it bouncy. As long as the front is slightly lower or even with the rear it rides just fine

I've had KW HAS on two F10 M5's and will be going this route on my F90 M5C. In my experience (limited to F10 platform) they've been phenomenal w/ much less bounce than fixed height springs (H&R in my experience).

Bouncy is relative word.
Some people are ok with H&R spring, some says it is bouncy. (Same car, same spring). But KW HAS, as applies to any other lowering, if you go too low and you are riding on the bump stop. Then it will be bouncy.

With fixed height springs you're basically stuck w/ what you get.

The only thing you can change on Spring is the preload and the Rate. Like Ben sed if is to low you might hit the stops.

Agreed! I lowered it an additional 0.2" around and it still rides exceptionally well. It's slightly noticeable now as far as firmness goes. Basically feels like Sport mode (not Sport +) is the new Comfort mode setting. Keep in mind, this is on a base m5, so M5C owners may not feel a change at all.
