EVOLVE stage 2 + TCU + Downpipes SS

Hi guys,
I had the following adjustments made:
- 2 in 1 SuperSprint downpipes, it sends EVOLVE when ordering
- ECU tuning EVOLVE stage 2 = 741hp, 950Nm
- TCU tuning EVOLVE
- unlock max speed

Experience:
- Downpipes had to be modified, welded on holders, drilled into the cover in BMW to access the holes in the downpipes, but this is not visible. I had Downpipes wrapped in thermal tape on the service advice. The downpipe on the driver's side went very poorly installed.

- Sound: I have an M sport exhaust and with new downpipes it is much louder and audible even at 250km / h. It's good for clearing the left lane :-) Fortunately, the flaps can be turned off and the car is quite quiet.

- ECU + TCU tuning: you do not need a measurement test to immediately feel the brutal acceleration. The force is huge, the reaction to the gas is immediate, the shifting is lightning fast. Evolve writes that power will increase by 140 hp, but I feel like it is 300 hp.

- unlock max speed: it work, but I tried 270kph, 167mph, a lot of cars on highway

-So in conclusion I must say that I am extremely satisfied. I don't really want to do the brake performance test, but I'll try acceleration with Dragy sometime later.

It stinks. All afternoon I've been working on how to make strong ventilation in the garage based on a CO2 sensor.

Damn... I really hate that smell. That's the reason I still haven't done downpipes. I had downpipes on my M4 for 3 years. When I was getting rid of the car, the interior got this permanent gas smell from downpipes that best detailers couldn't even get out :

I hoped the V8 would be better, but I guess not

That was my dilemma. Deff smells horrible with windows down. As long as you keep the windows rolled up, it's not an issue. I had Long Tube Headers on my C63 and standing behind the car was absolutely disgusting. The M5 isn't any better but I guess it's a sacrifice. I wonder how it would smell just with secondaries removed.

If you put the oem secondary pipes back in, there is no gas smell. That's how my setup is...and why I went for primaries only.

And +1 for evolve. Fast files, great service, and nice folks.

That's an interesting solution. Did you still achieve the same gains for power?

Not sure man. My car traps 134-136 mph, which I'm happy with.

I don't think the secondary downpipe does much in terms of power.

I have secondaries only and do not notice any smell.

If you're worried about the smell, just wear a mask it's perfect timing.

When I first put on exhaust and DP's it smelled much worse than it does now a few thousand miles later. I barely notice it now and it's only at a stop light with windows down and the wind blowing the right direction.

Can you talk more about the TCU tune, interesting. I haven't heard to much about this aspect. Does it shift faster ? or at higher RPM's ? still maintains the S1,2,3, protocols etc.

Yes, shift is more faster, more torque. Here is seller description:

the F90 M5 gearbox TCU to work in conjunction with our ECU tunes. The benefits are faster shifts speeds and increased torque limits which in turn provide faster acceleration in all gears.

Increased torque limiters
Faster shift times
Faster acceleration
Designed in conjuction with our F90 M5 ECU tune, but is compatible with other tunes.

My friend from BMW dealer today confirmed what you wrote It have to burn inside the pipes, so it takes time
