Take a look at this picture from an Australian web site -

It has savanna beige seats and door inserts but otherwise the trim is black.

Out of interest, is this colour combination available in the US? I recall looking at your online configurator thing and not seeing it.

I love this colour combination and will be very happy if it's available in Australia on the M235i. That said, correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the picture is an M235i.

Not available in the US or Canada...but will be beginning with July production. You're right...this is not an M235, it's one of the 4 cyl 2's with the "Modern Line" interior.

Thanks for the reply. I hope this colour combination, ideally with gloss black trim instead of the wood trim, is available in the Australia spec M235i.

If you have the resources Andrew, give BMW Australia a call and ask if you guys, like Canada, will be getting this M235 interior colour option. As I said, it won't be available for us until July production starts. I'm going to assume that ROTW M235's will qualify as well. That colour is actually Oyster/Black and the order code is LCOM.

Yup, if Canada gets it, BMW USA will too. And I do believe they'll be branded as 2015's. Keep in mind that this interior is approved for July production and onward so add a couple of months or so from build to delivery.

I had to wait anyways because I'm ordering the xDrive version and it goes into production at the same time.

Great colour combo and it beats the hell out of the full Oyster trimmed interior which looks like...well...hell.

I'm still in the waiting game as well... waiting for M performance parts.

Really the problem I have with seats is the following

1) Get sensatec, use the money instead to buy some Recaro or F80 M3 seats, or maybe used BMW performance seats.

Problem right now is that A) Recaro does not sell their models with airbags in the US... I would maybe have to import one from europe, if that is even allowed (Recaro sportser cs). M3 seats I don't know if they will fit or not, and BMW Performance seats are major $$$$. There is also the rumor that new BMW performance seats are going to come out

2) Wait, and get Oyster/Black leather for 2015 model.

I really would like to have some nice, aggressive seats though

Are you sure it's Oyster? Looks more like the old savanna beige to me. Oyster is more white isn't isn't it?

Yes, I am pretty sure it is Oyster/black as that option is available on the 228i sport line.

you know what else I noticed, the small 6.5 inch display is no longer weird looking in that picture. It seems like they extended the glass instead of it being plastic all over and looking gross

That's the 6.5" screen you get if you have Business Nav. Professional Nav gets the 8 inch screen and no nav gets the 6.5" screen with the plastic bezel. Same as on the F30.
