Just bought the downpipes and CTS Intakes!
Make sure you take the stock air box out for those CTS intakes. I thought they retained the bottom like BMS and tried to cram them in there. They do not fit :

Thanks for letting me know. I'm assuming your running the CTS intakes? How do you like them?

I can't speak for the M Performance exhaust or MAD secondaries, but I recently had Evolution Racewerks catless secondaries installed and cold start is a little bit louder. Normal driving I really can't tell a difference, but when you stomp the loud pedal there is a definite difference. Also, no drone under cruising speeds that I can tell either.

Cold start is a little louder and more growl overall, no drone at all.

Hey there! Could you please post a video if your install is done? Really curious as I’ve been planning to go the same route (Fi Cat Back + MAD Secondaries) for sometime now! Would really appreciate it! Thank you.

I had them installed yesterday and there is a definite, much improved exhaust tone. It's louder slightly but there is a noticeable change to the tone, it's now much deeper and way more aggressive without being overly loud, lots of pops and bangs now too is sport plus. Also there is a noticeable improvement to the throttle response, seems to pick up much quicker and have more useable power lower down the rev range. I don't know whether it's my mind lying to me because of the new exhaust noise but it also feels faster as it moves through the gears.

Overall I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend as it's relatively inexpensive and not that hard to fit.

No issues with CEL either which is a plus!

Will try to get some decent videos of the sound if helpful.

Video would be great start in sport+ mode, rev and drive by . Thanks

So I recently had a set of MAD secondary downpipes installed at my local BMW dealer which is an authorized Dinan performance center. And they billed me 8.5hours of labor for the installation of the secondary downpipes, on top of the 7.4 hours installation time for axle back exhaust, x pipe, cold air intake, and turbo inlet. My question is do you have a recommended labor time for the installation of the secondary downpipes? Any help would be appreciated.

Its similar to installing the full downpipe so 5-6 hours is usually the norm at a performance shop. Bmw dealers typically charge more since they go by book time plus some.

Sir I have put an order for primaries and secondaries. When do you expect to have them back in stock?

Is there a gasket that sits between the primary and turbo? How about a gasket between the primary and secondary?

A fiber ring gasket you must transfer to the new downpipes unless you bought new examples (4 total).

So there's a total of 4 gaskets? I had my primary dp and secondary dp installed but we didnt transfer over any gasket, just the clamp to connect the pipes. The exhaust fumes is pretty bad inside the car cabin.
