Shifts in D3 and S3 are much faster and harder. I'm pretty blown away with how fast this thing can shift. Stock was good but left me wishing for more. I need more seat time but D3 seems even better and more intuitive going through corners and up shifts are ridiculous.

Shifts in D2 are crisper and is a nice mode for cruising without full pops and bangs.
Love it so far and can't wait to try drag mode and draggy/take to the track.
Seems nice!👍

Great feed back. I have a 2020 m8 first edition and I think it's the same tranny as f90 Lci's. I'm way within my launch limits and tranny feels crisp stock. Wanted to ask if u were out of ur LC limit or not and that's why u felt the difference. Thx

What settings are u running? To me it feels like the shift after 3rd gear are slower than stock but I'll dragy n confirm. This is without drag mode.

I'm running the default stage 3. All shifts seem faster in S3 and D3 but I haven't had a chance to properly dragy yet. haven't logged a lot on time in D3 yet and haven't paid specific attention to the higher gear shifts in D3. But S3 shifts feels faster and crisper across the board.
Tried non drag mode launch control last night but spun and bogged in 1st the first time and spun the next time. Was 58 degrees but humid and wasn't ideal spots so will try again in a few days and report back.

I installed it on my 2018. All I have is the intake and xhp and in D3 it feels like the car is jumping at the shifts and I chirp 2nd gear now. It'll pin you back in the seat on the shifts.
I raced it before at 4500da and I was running 7.5@98-99 with a jb4 and eventuri intake.
I removed the jb4 so I can sell it and reran the car but this time at 6300da and I got 7.5@93-94 so it's definitely jumping hard off the line now and shifts are hard with the same et but with less power going 5mph slower but with higher DA.
Now I just installed a bm3 ots 91 stage 1 tune and I plan to race it in a couple of weeks.

I run XHP Stage 3 with BM3 OTS 93 Stage 2 and JB4 controlling meth and adding +5 psi. XHP seems like it helps a little but I have no numbers. It’s not like it will drop your quarter mile time by a second. Maybe a couple of tenths.

What have you done to your car to get it to 9.76/quarter mile?

Anyone running XHP Stage 3 for a while on a LCI with some recent feedback? Don't see too much talk on the forum about this tune, but I'm really considering purchasing. Are you happy with the tune? Do you daily drive on stage 3? Any reliability issues?

I have im mostly happy with it there is som pretty rough shifts in the fastest trans setting if you give like half to 3/4 of throttle and shift at like around 5000 rpm the car bucks wildly.
I have read that it’s the same problem on G8X M3 and M4 cars i wish more people would get in touch and explain the problem with XHP so it may get sorted out.
But they may have made an update fix for it recently im not shure i have not downloaded their more recent updates.

I have a pre LCI with it and have had the xHP for almost 2 years. The wife and I both enjoy the update over OEM. It is not night and day different, but did bring the behavior of the transmission closer to what I was looking for.

I have a pre LCI with BM3 and Xhp Stage 3. It is totally civilized in transmission setting 1. Setting 3 is definitely jumpy and I use that only when I want or need to. The stock factory trans tune is very good in my opinion, but I am a modder who struggles to leave well enough alone.

A bit annoying that you asks for some info/advice and you get some good responses for your questions but don’t give a thanks appreciation or response back.
This is how forums die off 😔

Appreciate the responses all and didn't mean to offend. I'm not super active here, asked a question and got busy. I get your point. Thank you!
