Skidpad and instructional stuff should be good for beginners who have no experience on the track. It really does give you a feeling for how your car will behave at corners.

Actually, these guys are coasting on brand loyalty (and maybe decent service) for client retention. I used to service my Lexus at Erin Park Lexus, and they'd have a nice free event every year for all their clients (not track related, more like a dinner / show etc...)

I would have to agree, especially when you are using you own car.

If it was one of there M series or the new 335is than I may conceder it.

Way overpriced...though maybe I should spend the $ so when my 335i overheats on lap 2 (my build doesn't have the oil cooler) I can ask a bunch of BMW employee's what they are going to do about it. The ad says 'at speeds your BMW was designed for'.

I imagine once I start asking they'll be staring at their shoes a lot...or hiding...

BMW driver training course is cheaper, and you have the use of there cars, not trashing your own.

It is highly unlikely that your car will overheat on lap 2 or even 10 laps in Mosport. You clearly must be doing something wrong.
