Tasman Green?
Thoughts/opinions on Tasman Green please. IMO, I've never been a fan of green cars BUT I think I actually like this color. It's definitely unique...

Have one. It's okay. Lots of people compliment the color for what it's worth. To me, it is the ultimate invisibility cloak. It just disappears into the environment.

Simply the best color BMW makes, especially on an e91 with Chestnut upholstery.
Of course, I might be a TAD biased in this.

Tasman is very influenced by the color of the interior. Black is much too dark, almost makes it seem as if the paint is somehow darker. The beige makes it all too earthtoney. The saddle suffers from both of these issues, too dark and too earthy. The oyster is light and cool. Not an earth tone and it almost makes the paint seem lighter and more grey. It also helps to have the sport pack with shadowline trim, lower ride height and bigger wheels. I personally have never once seen another Tasman 335i sedan with sport pack on the road. BMW must not have thought too much of the color as it was special order only (aka only for presold cars). For some reason you could not option it with M sport package either I though about doing that conversion before I came to my senses.

A buddy of mine had Tasman Green on Saddle for his e90 and it looked pretty nice. I wasn't a fan at first but I really started to like the color after a while. At night it kind of looks like a dark gray but during the day you do notice the subtle green hint.

I bought one about 6 months ago and love it. Ive had a ton of people (especially bmw owners) stop me to compliment it/and or ask what it is.

The color looks better in the sunlight (not that it looks bad under fluorescents). But it's such a unique mix of gray and green...definitely something to ponder while I search for my next car!
