Battery consumption with closed car

Has anyone had this problem and can tell me what to look for? The car after 4 days stopped consumes the battery completely?
Thanks in advance!

It was mentioned on the G30 thread that a unlocked car for 2 days took 12 hours to charge on a charger, whereas a locked car took only 2 hours to recharge.

Electronics don't fully shut down. I now keep my car in the garage locked for a lesser battery drain.

Do you have to leave it parked with the charger on so the battery doesn't drain?

I drive mine daily, so no for me. I've even left it locked for a week without issues. However if you leave it unlocked and don't drive often, I can see where that can happen.

Also short trips don't give it enough time to fully charge.

why does an unlocked car drain the battery faster? what does a locked car turn off to conserve battery? When locked, security systems are activated. I never lock my car in the garage and never have had a battery issue, sometimes a week before driving.

I thought the same exact thing until I read different post and tested it myself.

I used a ODB MXII adapter and read the battery percentage when sitting locked for 2 days vs unlocked for 2 days. It seems it doesn't fully sleep (at least with G30s) when sitting unlocked.

Probably the best test would be with an amp meter connected to pos and ground under the hood and see draw when unlocked vs. locked. Durring winter months I leave CTech lithium charger connected 24/7 with car unlocked, possible that some parasitic draw is good for cycling lithium battery or should I keep car locked all winter?

The problem is that the battery drain when the car is locked, there is something that does not sleep.
