Has anyone experienced problems lately with barely being able to hear the person on the other end of the call? It started recently when using my iPhone connected to the car to make calls. Doesn't happen all the time and I've even tried disconnecting and reconnecting the phone during the same call with no success. It doesn't matter the speed, it happens at a stop, while on the highway, etc…it doesn't discriminate.

I had the same issue. There was an iPhone update that was released which fixed this issue for me. Double check your iPhone settings to make sure you have the most update to date software.

Not sure what platform your running. IOS 16.0.3 was just released which addressed low microphone volume on I Phone 14’s. I’m hoping it works and will see tomorrow after I install update tonight

Ya, I've been on 16.0.3 since it's release and that's not the problem. It's weird.

That's not the issue. I can turn the volume almost all the way up and it doesn't change how loud the conversation is. Doesn't happen with every call, just a couple calls over the past month.
