Wanted: 18" or 19" wheels
I am looking to get some winter wheels/tyres for use next winter. So I am after a set of 18" or 19" wheels suitable for a 330d MSport with blue MSport brakes. Must have TPMS and preferably be genuine BMW wheels.
Alternatively, a set of complete winter wheels/tyres. I am in Chester, but willing to collect from other areas |

I very much doubt someone would take their TPMS valvle off and sell it with the wheels.

In the not too distant future, I will have my winter wheels for sale.
400M 18 inch OEM wheels, full set of TPMS, very good but not perfect condition. They have Yokohama winter tyres on currently, staggered set up, non runflat. They've been on my M Sport plus 335d so will fit over your big brakes. I'll give you a shout if you're still looking in due course. |

Presumably because if it's a newer car and his summer wheels have the newer system, then the car will throw annoying fault codes with the winter wheels on if they don't have the newer TPMS.

You're being misinformed. You'll get the warning bong and error in your dash every time you start your car. If your car is coded to receive signals from the new TPMS system and they're not being received, it will throw an error. I think the change happened sometime around early 2014 so the earlier cars have the indirect ABS system vs the newer ones with the silver metal valve stems and the sensor inside the wheel rim / tyre.
Some have lived with it, but if like me, the OP doesn't want to be irritated on every startup. |

And, as I have the system on my BMW m'bike too (with individual tyre pressures displayed) going non-TPMS would be a retrograde step for me |

There are no TPMS sensors but I am willing to accept a lower offer if you want to get some fitted - like these for example. PM me if interested.
