What tires are you running on your Alufelgen CS7's?

I was hoping to fit hankook ventus V12s but I'm not sure they're the ideal size.

I can get the v12s in 225/40/R18 for the front, and 255/45/R18 in the rear, but I'm wondering if that is going to mean too high of a profile height (for speedometer accuracy etc.).

I see I can get yokohama S-drives in 225/35 and 255/35, would these be a better fit?

A very slight stretch is fine, I'd prefer this to having the tires look too fat for the wheels.

Also need to keep the price down, need to keep it below 700 for the set of 4 if possible.

Thanks for any suggestions

you are going to want to go 225/40 and 255/35.

Thanks, I can get the V12's in those sizes so that's awesome.

Totally out of my depth here but is this how it works?

225mm width * 40% = 90mm profile height

255mm width * 40% = 89.25mm profile height

I'm guessing you want to get the profile heights as close as possible?

What I don't understand is how the widths relate to the wheel width.

225mm is 8.9" (front wheels are 8" wide), and 255mm is 10" (rears are 9" wide).

How does this part work, my uneducated guess would be that the tires are too wide for the wheels but I know they're not as people are running them.

thanks for any more help.
