2022 M5 Competition to 2025 M3 Competition xDrive

Hi, all. Posted on the G80 forum and now looking to get thoughts here. I'm on my second F90 M5 Competition as a daily driver and getting bored. As I'm not optimistic about the hybrid rumors surrounding the next generation M5, I've put in a request to my dealer for an allocation of a LCI M3 Competition xDrive when available next year.

Anyone else gone F90 to G80? Or G80 to F90? What should I expect?

Other vehicles in the stable for context are:
  • 2024 GT3
  • 2023 GT4
  • 2019 F150 Raptor

Thanks for the input.

With G80/82, you can only drive about 200 miles per tank unless you drive slow.

Fun car but frequent visit to gas stations.

I would skip G80/82 if I were you.

Yeah - I question this, as well. My GT4 has a smaller tank and I still get 300+ miles per fill up.

Yes.

I drove it hard and fast.

I visited gas stations twice a week minimum.
