Hi newbmwfans,
All good questions, but have you first tried the "search" on the forum. Lots of good info there. Some ppl will post to your question, but you might find if you do some research first, and have a more specific question, you will get a more detail answer. Wax / wash / detail is such a personal choice that even if you get 100 answers all could be right and also be totally different. Anyway that's my advice. It is a good question though. Hope that helps. BTW that was told to me on my fist post like this... Now SEARCH is my best friend. You would be amazed how many times something has been said over and over and over and over... I like collinite wax, have been using it for years after working for a detail shop that used it almost exclusively. But most here will say Zaino

I like Zaino for the simple fact that it's super easy to apply and lasts forever. However, real carnauba wax still looks a little better on colors with lots of depth, like Sedona. Collinite is a great recommendation and offers more durability than my standard go to wax, P21s. Souveran also seems to get good reviews, but I haven't tried it myself. Try a few things, you won't go wrong with any and you'll have fun finding the differences in each product.

As I've stated elsewhere... My current favorite higher end, but not too expensive wax is Chemical Guys Limited Edition 50/50 paste wax.
It has a great glossy shine, and is pretty durable. Whenever I was my car, I top it with Jeff Werkstat's Carnauba Gloss. Great detailer. |

This question in my view comes down to price. There are waxes for $10 up to $200 or more. A forum search is a good start. I use Griots wax stick. But, I like to change waxes every year or so to try others. I have also used P21s. P21s is great for dark colors and dries clear if you get it on any other surfaces.
