My situation exactly!!
That's what so many folks I'm here don't understand. Just got someone got 11% off MSRP custom build somewhere else doesn't mean u can get the same deal. These deals are relative to the market and perceived value of the asset. Just get the absolute best you can in your market and not based on what you read on here. Good for information but not to compare.
Agree 100%. And the funny thing is that people that report a lot more off MSRP than I got still have substantially higher lease payments.

I think a lot of people need to realize the deal is made in the numbers. If the numbers are right, the payment works itself out. It's just math.

When you work solely on monthly payment, there's too many ways the dealer can sneak in or change things.

You want to shoot for 12% off supposedly. Anything 10+% is pretty good though

Not that I know of. I've been in touch with about 5 different dealers here in LA and 5.5% off is the best I have gotten. I'm trying to push for 6.5% which is about invoice price based on my build's MSRP.

I believe discounts are 8-10% off before incentives depending on dealer and region

I'm in California and this is for a 2021 M5 Comp. At 5% would it be a decent deal, or do you think I should pass? I've called around and this is the first dealership I got to give me a discount. Most won't discount at all.

Looking back at the quote, I have a discount of $6,400 and a Cap reduction of $3,000. Would I need to combine these to determine my discount? If so, the discount is 8%+

Sorry for the Noob question. I'm not to familiar with leases.

Reach out to Dan at next level auto brokers. He is based in NJ but does deals all across the country.
I think he just shipped 2 comps to the northwest.

I have an order with him that's currently in production

He's a member here but you can email him:

nextlevelautobrokers@gmail.com

He gets swamped with emails so if he doesn't reply, just try again.

I just think you can do better off sticker.

No that's two different things and I also have a feeling they are using incentives as part of the "discount" off msrp. Your incentives should be on top of the agreed upon discount.

Cap reduction is the same as a down payment. I wouldn't put money down on a lease. If anything happens to the car, you aren't seeing that money back.

If you want to lower your Money Factor to lower your payment, look into Multiple Security Deposits.

Really hard to get anything off MSRP here. Too many people walk in with a "bag of cash" and just pay MSRP. I'm currently shopping a lease on an M5C but with the stop-sale I'm not rushed.

I second this, Dan got me a crazy lease deal on my X3M...and better yet, the process was super easy. I didn't have to step into a dealer or talk to a sales guy once

Re-lease residuals

Are you guys familiar with re-lease residuals for extension above 3 years?

I have a 2018 M5 with lease expiration in May 2021 and I wouldn't mind extending for a year or two.

BMW Financial Services will only quote rates within 60 days of lease expiration.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are in Texas or near east Texas, contact BMW of Tyler. They beat any discount I was offered in the Dallas area on an ordered M5C.
