Check your remote display. It has the same sensor on it.

Not too keen on that, cause you lose your laser protection from the rear. However, if you get lasered from the rear, it's too late I guess. lol

I've owned my current V1 for over a decade and it's had all the updates, other than to the G2. I am getting the G2 today and will give an extensive comparison end of week, once I get familiar w/ it.
I'll also then update my G1 and slap that in the window of another car. I always hated moving it from car to car.

Rear laser detection from a window unit is damn near useless. Just tape it and enjoy the silence of no falses.
