Competition models come standard with the M Sport Exhaust (black tips). Don't confuse this with the M Performance Exhaust (in titanium). I guess you can check which exhaust it has by looking at the exhaust tips. M Sport is black, M Performance has carbon fiber tips and a different design for the tips, its easily distinguishable.

Yep, what Pcai said!
The car ships from the factory with the M Sport exhaust per normal, but then it gets removed during the MPE installation at the port. Assuming you order it with the car of course. |

It's at the VPC now!!! Aaaaugh! Lol
Probably mid to late next week. Then I have to give it up for another week for ppf and ceramic coating. The horror! |

LOL. Nice! I know you’re chomping at the bit. I am struggling, because I can’t really drive mine a whole lot, yet, as I have a couple weeks to wait for my PPF guy to install it, so for now just playing around with the B&W and wiping on it...a lot! It really is a beautiful piece of machinery. I think you will find your wait was well rewarded!

How do you like the B&W? I sprung for it having not listened to it yet, but knowing I don’t like the H/K and am not going to mess with aftermarket audio in this car.
I used to spend lots of money on car audio (SQ) but now my serious listening is strictly on open-ear headphones or home-built speakers. |

Man, I love it. In fact, I am so excited because I spent a good while in the car last night, tinkering with it and getting my EQ just right, and to me it sounds amazing. I am SO glad I have that in the car, now. Plus, being a bit cheeky here, but the lights in it are pretty sweet at night! Lol
Just be sure to spend the time getting the sound stage and EQ settings to your liking, and I think you’ll be well pleased with it, as well. Per our earlier conversation about this, I think it is going to become a real problem whether to listen to some good music on the B&W or to that glorious V8 and exhaust sound! |

I’m really excited about having optioned the MPE when I read statements like yours. I hesitantly optioned it on my F80 and it ended up being my favorite thing about that car. And now, with the F90 MPE not being valved, I actually like that all the exhaust button really does is trigger the pops and bangs (which I’m not a huge fan of).
