We are in the same boat for week 21 production. I went with Grigio Medio. I knew the order would be delayed due to the requested color. Your car will get to you quicker in MS than mine will to the West Coast.

As far as paying to make it go faster...just keep adding to the order with port installed options Don’t know if it speeds the production but it does serve as a distraction

that sounds about right, mine got kicked two weeks later as well due to paint. At least we know the factory is consistent with their gameplan for the S/O cars.

How long did it take after it finished production to get to shipping port for you?

Here is an approximate timeline of my car (19 M5C)



07/24/18 - 150 - Production Started
08/24/18 - 155 - Assembly Finish / Quality Check
08/26/18 - Produced Not Shipped
09/03/18 - In Transit to Final VPC
09/14/18 - Car Arrives at Port of GA
09/21/18 - Car Arrives at Dealer
09/22/18 - Picked up car

All in all it took about 60 days from the time production started until it arrived at the dealer.

Ive been ordering parts as I decide on them in lieu of port installed options.

dissapointing news, car is scheduled to be done on the 2nd.. PCD only has july 8th as the earliest spot for delivery. Fuck that. i'll just have my dealer send it to a local one down here.

Think i'll just send it to the dealer that quoted me 1800 a month for a 113k car to spite them. yes, that's it.

Wow! Now your close! Didn’t know BMW had a VDC in Galveston. Just read up on it. They opened it in 2016. I’m assuming prior to that your car would have come through GA.
Does Galveston extend or speed up the journey for delivery at your location?
