Yep...and I don't foresee our M2 ever leaving the stable.

I'm thinking keep mine and add 6MT M2CS.

I'm surprised that people actually think the M2C won't affect the OG M2's resale value. What's the reasoning there? Given the two options, putting the subjective bits aside, you do have a more powerful engine in the M2C with better seats and an upgraded interior.
If I was shopping for an M2 in 3-4 years and had the option between the two, there would only be one option (the M2C). I just don't see how the less powerful, more dated car will stay on the same depreciation curve when the M2C is likely to have such a minimal bump in MSRP over the OG M2. |

I love that you are quite literally, all over the place, when it comes to what you want to do with your stable.
I am the same way and people think I am nuts.

The s55 is a garbage sounding engine. High hopes for the S58. |

Now that BMW is putting S55 (don't forget, it's detuned and 120lbs heavier)in the M2 Comp, people are trash talking about the current M2 like it's a 228. The current M2 is still freaking monster of a car in this size. as a matter of fact, I was just drooling at an M2 rolling down the street. it looked amazing and sounded like no other. no regrets here as my current M2 is already a bargain at full price for me.

I'm guessing you've never driven an N55 M2. Coming from an N55 335i to my '18 M2, I can assure you that the two different N55 applications behave nothing alike. |

Looks like M4 seats, new wheels and larger brakes are standard. Also color options aside from HS and Sunset Orange?
Edit: I think this is more of a comparison document highlighting changes, new standard equipment etc. I bet black, white, and lbb are still available. They probably didn't mention those because they are the same for both models. Last edited by M-Pilot; 05-08-2018 at 11:31 AM.. |

They have split out several options that were previously standard (smokers package, storage package, HK sound system and speed limit info). So the price hike is almost $8K CDN in reality (though with upgraded brakes and seats included)... if this is accurate. Edit: I see they have included the adaptive LED and Carplay as standard, were options in 2018. So knock off $1300 from the difference... ~$6500 bump. Not sure what this says with respect to U.S. pricing... we will find out soon I guess. Last edited by Bluenose-2er; 05-08-2018 at 12:07 PM.. |

The fact the MG is scrapped is rather a "lowlight" than a "highlight".
And what is "Hockehiem" ?
