Long journey.....After seeing pics of new M3/M4, I just couldn't love it. I knew it would be a great car but on 9/11 I ordered my M5 and didn't get delivery until 12/16 because of the dreaded vent recall. The next day I took her to get wrapped and tinted... 2 days later 2 of the guys in the shop got COVID. Can you say shut down!!! Anyway, I finally got my car and it has beat all my expectations. Now I just have to change my name. No M3 for me. First some delivery pics.

Brakes are amazing. Have to get use to how powerful they are. Now I have to be aware of how close someone is behind me and give them a warning tap cause this thing stops real short when pressed. Not a sound from them so far..

The ride is firm but the way I like it. I don't like comfy caddy rides. I really haven't been able to open her up because of break in restrictions but the difference from eco and sport is night and day...

Love it. Glad you went with those wheels. How I'm planning to spec mine too.

Congratulations!

Car looks great - congrats!

Please post more pictures, especially shots that show a bit of exterior along with interior. Love that MBB and Silverstone combo.
Cue the predictable question: How's Silverstone holding up in the first few days of ownership w.r.t. smudges and jeans color transfer?

So far no transfer from clothing to seats. I am prepared with chemical guys leather cleaner and will just clean them every 2 weeks or so. This practice has worked well for me in the past with Silverstone leather from BMW. Usually wear well if maintained..

Simply gorgeous ✌
Can you share a pick from the back seats and catch the middle console between the front seats?
Thanks in advance.

You got a nice spec! I picked up a new but leftover from 2019 M5. Love the car but regret getting the full smoke white leather as well as the almandine brown exterior color. I might just get a red wrap to hold me over until I get a 911 Turbo S. I’m keeping my M5 too tho. It’s just a jack of all trades. Never see myself parting with it due to the usability and performance.
